 LOCAL TRAVEL

For local travel we recommend Abdu Rahman who has worked with the owners and staff of Mango Trees for fifteen years.  Abdu speaks excellent English and is a knowledgeable, reliable guide as well as taxi driver.

Abdu has two vehicles, an estate car licensed for four passengers and a people carrier licensed for eight passengers. 

Airport transfers can be pre-booked and Abdu will greet you at the airport.

Abdu has a wide knowledge of Gambian birds and is a great guide for a trip to Bijilo Forest, Lamin Lodge or for longer adventures up-country.  He is also a very sensitive and helpful shopping guide should you wish to venture into the main bazaar in Banjul.  He is also available to take you to bars and restaurants in the evenings and his venue recommendations can be very helpful.
